safety first! As a California native, I absolutely enjoyed this trip with my partner. It was tranquil as the weather was perfect for the long awaited occasion. The Great Lakes are beautiful. Nothing like a Midwest zest for adventure! It was reminiscent of Camp Vayachanu, a sports camp i had attended. Located in Big Bear, the picturesque landscapes and crisp air felt otherworldly to say the least. Of course I had won 🏆 🙄 another award: this time it was *best camper*. I enjoyed the hikes, the jet skies, movie nights and *Black Forest Lodge* where us campers layed our heads down to rest at night. Fishing was fun as well. I was introduced to my first trout lake in relation to fishing- it was like *Tashlich* but with Rods, Hooks 🪝 😀 😄 😅 and Bait. She always did tell me i had *Hook Hair*! I guess water is an ongoing them in my life, hence one of my self appointed nicknames “Vassel” – the etymology is interesting. It stems from the word *Vasser* which means *Water* . I like a good h2o infused drink dont you?
