Im “Queen for a day”
“Hooray”!
I look down at my wrist in dismay
It’s time to start the day

My watch is gone
Time to go and right a wrong
Im going to go bang my Gong
Bam Bam Bam
I knew it all along

“Delayed Gratification”
But he’s going on vacation
To meet me by the sea
Seasaws and swings
He bought me some bling

Not just from an auction
But a whole concoction
A thick golden band
To go with my headstand

He liked my physique
When it was at its peak
He thought he could buy me
I declined and said *try me*

I wanted it so bad
It made me really sad
But I withheld
And then:

“The hills so dry, so dense. the underbrush that where I pushed my way the giant hush. was changed to soft explosion”

Drip drip
Ruby red
Let’s go break some bread
And plant our lush Garden on a Homestead

Iced eyes
Filled with lies
I enscribed to him: “you’re a good person”
Not knowing my heart was really filled with Arson

Now, my wedding day is a good day
I”m wearing Virgin white
Pure I am for many a decade
Tonight we break the ice
Not once. Not twice. But thrice.

Something borrowed
Blue in the sky.
As well as in my eye
Evil eye please dont pry

Wedding bells and a band
Strands of dolled up tendrils
And a good jam
Violin, Cello and Piano
I feel, in these moments im a bit mellow

We sway to the rhythm
Our first dance
Im in a trance
Relieved in my stance

“I do” forever and always
My sweetheart, my soul mate
Its a clean slate
