Sitting and Reminiscing

I went to pick out some brand new furniture today. It was an emotional experience for so many reasons. At 500, some of our furniture was thrifted and I always felt embarrassed by that. My father went to Pratt so he loved to design and decorate. Like Grandpa Norton, an NYU grad- he loved the arts, and science! *gasp*. I inherited his genes as well and im thankful for that. We even share the same birthday. Every year he would send me a card with some $$ in it. When I found out he had passed on my move up to the Midwest, I had to keep going. I had my moment but my cousin, sam, thankfully was a great cheerleader and encouraged me to persevere. Thankfully, I was able to block it out. I still have it blocked out. I dont think I even cried about it yet. Too many other preoccupations in relation to survival to even start the grieving process when it came to *the brenner* side of the familia.

Panting and Pants

relationships work best when no one wears the pants! Thankfully my partner took karate classes when he was a handsome lad once upon a time. (Hes still so gorgeous 😍) i too, took self defense classes a couple of times eons and eons ago! Sometimes he wears a different *make* on the weekends. You know?

Block-Buster night

Its a full moon tonight! Yikes! My spouse knows how I get during this time of the month. So I felt it would be in our best interest to relax with a steamy long bath- bath bombs included and then cuddling on our comfy sunk-in leather sofa together ❤️ as we watch some of these 😍

Dinner Done- Walmart Edition

Being that, the last time I was able to properly cook in a clean kitchen without being micromanaged was over a decade ago, im a bit rusty. So these are some of my favorite 😍 *dishes* when im feeling overwhelmed. Its reminiscent of 500. Growing up, this is what *dinner* looked like on many a night. I took photos of the new *ramen* that are shelved but I cant seem to find them 😢 😕 😔 I feel so blessed that I was able to maintain my beautiful physique after eating allll of said cuisine *gasp*.

Home

I love Walmart. There. I said it. I absolutely love shopping at the brick and mortar stores whenever I come into contact with one. After all, I did park there 🙃 before it was *a thing*. I didn’t vlog about it or tell anyone until I was successful in obtaining my very first lease. I was merely 27 years old. Ive rented b4 but it was different because of a few factors. I felt so *adult*. Thank you Walmart for hosting me 😍

🎁Gifting. A flex.

this year, he had me pick out some David Yurman jewelry. I think im kinda over my Tiffany days. Im finding it challenging to choose which one id prefer 😇 he likes rewarding me but Christmas comes once a year so I need to make a wise decision when engaging in bracelet selection. Im so excited. I put both of these on hold.

I ended up going with this lovely gadget. I just am having trouble making a sound decision right now in relation to adornments. I just really need a good gutter system for our estate. As you’ve all been privileged to get an inside glimpse of our rustic, farm-house. Its pretty *old* so we are in the process of renovating it. I love gutters as much as I do a gut Gutturull!

Bryant Park

We are heading out to Bryant Park. I used to visit when I lived in Brooklyn. That beautiful piece of the Big Apple 🍎 😍 literally saved my life. I was feeling overwhelmed from a job I had just left. Thankfully, my intuition and gut w guiding me to the luminescent of the seasonal spirit and lights I so very much enjoy. Im so thankful that I have who/m to share it with this year.

A Russia Chupah

We have/had quite alot of family in Europe and it’s where we always loved being. I discussed the tradition of wearing a *Veil* over my beautiful face during the Chupah ceremony with my understanding spouse. I educated him on the topic of *Veils* during biblical times in the 1st Testament. We both agreed it’s a silly and harmful tradition. So I did not cover my face with an opaque one. We were very happy with that decision.

Honk Honk 😇🥰😎

I liked driving in the *fast lane* im not gonna lie. When I saw something I liked, I went after it until it was *mine*. Of course I played fair. My spouse understands because he’s extremely competitive as *was* i but im unsure. I think im getting the streak back and I kinda like it. 😁 at the same time, I’m all for being chased after though. It’s one hell of a *ride*. This is a Mercedes- ive upgraded since my ownership of the Honda Civics- plural! Thanks Joel 😊 🫂 🙏
